Extreme Perspective x The 4th China Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision Conference ended successfully

The 4th China Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision Conference (PRCV 2021) will be held on December 19-21, 2021 at the Haiquanwan Grand Metropark Hotel, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. PRCV2021 is co-sponsored by China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), China Society for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), China Computer Society (CCF) and China Association of Automation (CAA); co-organized by Beijing University of Science and Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications , Co-organized by Sun Yat-sen University and Tsinghua University, is the top academic event in the field of pattern recognition and computer vision in China.

As the diamond sponsor of this PRCV 2021, Extreme Vision organized the exhibition at the booth No. 1 at the conference site. At the conference site, the booth of the Jishi platform under Jiwangwang was very popular, and the annual event attracted the attention of many participants, and many developers received the gifts carefully prepared by Jishi.

At the PRCV 2021 conference, Dr. Deng Fucheng, Dean of the Extreme Perspective Research Institute, gave a speech on “On the Limits and Challenges of AI Technology from Landing Applications”, outlining the demand characteristics and market status of AI vision applications, from data collection/annotation, model Construct training, algorithm packaging and deployment iterations, and the current situation of AI talents, combined with real cases to illustrate the limitations and challenges of AI technology. As the first computer vision algorithm mall, Extreme Vision hopes to cooperate with the industry and academia to cope with the challenges of AI development and application .

In the special forum of Jishi[Target Detection]Professor Mingming Cheng from Nankai University published a report on “Multi-granularity Target Detection of Large-scale Images”. Starting from the three granularities of examples, images, and the entire data set, The image collection is jointly analyzed, and the latest research progress of the media computing team of Nankai University in the fields of edge detection, salient object detection, and image super-resolution is introduced systematically.

Professor Jin Yi from Beijing Jiaotong University published a report on “Research on Key Technologies of Multimodal Visual Perception in Intelligent Transportation”. The report combines the research results of Professor Jin's team in traffic visual perception in recent years to discuss artificial intelligence and visual perception technologies Several key research issues applied in the field of intelligent traffic safety and their future development directions.

Professor Zhang Baochang from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics published the report “Trusted Learning and Target Detection”. In order to improve the effectiveness of the model, Professor Zhang proposed a series of model compression methods to increase model capacity while reducing model complexity. And the generalization ability of the model. Related applications include: 1-bit target detection and infrared target detection.

Liu Ruoshui, co-founder of Extreme View Technology, delivered a keynote speech “Exclusive to Computer Vision Algorithm Developers-Jishi Platform”. She said that in response to the dilemma faced by artificial intelligence algorithm engineers, Extreme Vision released the Extreme City platform in 2016 to help developers improve the efficiency of algorithm development, enhance the practicability and generalization of algorithm models, and help the rapid implementation of algorithm engineering. In the past five years, 200,000 artificial intelligence algorithm developers have gathered in Jishi. In the next five years, the “530” talent plan released by Jiwangwang will continue to work hard.

Wang Lechi, Cooperation Manager of Science and Technology Colleges of Extreme Perspective, delivered a keynote speech “Based on the Artificial Intelligence Industry Ecology, Empowering the Training of Artificial Intelligence Talents”. He said that Extreme Perspective has released the “530” Talent Plan this year, and elaborated on the product and service matrix of the “530” Talent Program, combined with practical cases such as industry-level training and university training weeks, and explained that Extreme Perspective will continue to work together Colleges and universities empower the training of artificial intelligence talents.

With the successful conclusion of the 4th China Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision Conference in 2021, a grand academic exchange event has also come to an end. I believe this industry event based on cutting-edge and converging hot spots is helping to explore and promote pattern recognition and computer vision. In addition to the latest theories and technical achievements, it also brings new thinking to start a new journey of scientific and technological innovation.
