Marvell and ADI announce cooperation to develop highly integrated 5G radio frequency solutions

Beijing, China (February 26, 2020)-Marvell? (Nasdaq: MRVL) and Analog Devices (Nasdaq: ADI) announce technical cooperation, leveraging Marvell’s advanced 5G digital platform and ADI’s outstanding broadband RF transceiver technology Provide fully optimized solutions for 5G base stations. During the cooperation period, the two companies will provide fully integrated 5G digital front-end (DFE) ASIC solutions and closely coordinated RF transceivers, and will cooperate in the development of next-generation radio unit (RU) solutions, including the ability to support a diverse set of Optimized baseband and RF technology for functional segmentation and architecture.

The combination of Marvell and ADI’s advanced technology realizes a highly optimized RU design, supporting both standard and custom implementation schemes.
