What are the types of hydraulic control systems for industrial CNC pipe benders

The hydraulic control system is based on the power provided by the motor, and the hydraulic pump is used to convert the mechanical energy into pressure to push the hydraulic oil. By controlling various valves to change the flow direction of hydraulic oil, the hydraulic cylinder is pushed to make different strokes and different directions to complete the different action needs of various equipment. So what are the common hydraulic control systems for CNC pipe benders?

Three control block style This style has three control blocks. Two main control blocks with associated intermediate plate filling valves are directly installed on the hydraulic cylinder, realizing a pipeless connection between the main control block and the hydraulic cylinder cavity. The main control block is mainly composed of important proportional reversing valve, position monitoring reversing valve and back pressure components.

The proportional reversing valve plays a key role in the pipe bender. Together with the CNC, it determines the direction, speed, synchronization accuracy and positioning accuracy of the upper bending beam. The current control block series are equipped with a proportional directional valve with built-in electronics, which can be directly controlled by the CNC. The back pressure component (consisting of a reversing seat valve and two relief valves) is a non-leakage type corresponding to customer requirements.

The oil suction valve is responsible for filling the rodless cavity in fast forward and draining the flow of oil in the rodless cavity during the return stroke. The above two control blocks plus the third control block-pump control block form a complete three control block structure.

The most important installation parts here are the proportional relief valve and a maximum pressure cut-off valve, as well as the position monitoring reversing valve of the pilot valve as the filling valve. The proportional relief valve sets the maximum stamping pressure according to the given value of the CNC. The hand-tuning relief valve connected in parallel is responsible for the pressure insurance of the entire system, especially for the excessively high setting on the pump from the CNC. value.

The form of the central control block is to combine three control blocks into one control block. It is mainly used in some special-structured pipe benders (for example, when the height of the machine is limited). Due to control reasons, the connecting pipes between the control block and the two stamping hydraulic cylinders must be arranged symmetrically, and the maximum allowable distance between the two hydraulic cylinders (about 3m) must be ensured. Therefore, the central control block should be arranged as much as possible In the center of the machine.

The control block is connected to the hydraulic cylinder through a pipe. In this style, the SFA series oil filling valve is used. The valve is a flange structure and is directly installed on the hydraulic cylinder, and has an oil suction pipe connected to the oil tank. The compact structure of the filling valve meets the needs of a pipe bender with a very low overall height. The component configuration of the central control block corresponds to the three control blocks, and the functions are also the same.

In the application of the pipe bender, the central control block concentrates all the solenoid valves in one control block. Similarly, the electrical wiring of each valve is also concentrated on a cable line to realize a common connection.

To this end, an interface distributor is set up on the central control block. Therefore, in the same machine or even in similar machines, only one cable can be configured for all on-off valves, which greatly reduces the number of machine control cables and eliminates the need for manpower in the manufacturing and installation of pipe benders. Work online. What the machine user gets is the hydraulic control block with the pre-wired line.
